Walk/Bike to School Day

Despite the winter conditions this morning, Draper Elementary students celebrated national Walk/Bike to School Day on May 1.  Thanks to the PTA for organizing the event. 

The Walk/Bike to School Day was held to: 

1. Learn your route for next year (many of you will be in the walking zone), and let the school know of any areas you feel are unsafe.
2. Establish neighborhood walking groups
3. Have parent/child bonding time
4. Exercise
5. Save gasoline and the environment
6. The class with the most walkers will get a prize!
