Since Draper Elementary is celebrating American Indian Heritage Month, we thought you might be interested in the following community event is being held at Deer Valley:
The 22nd Annual Navajo Rug Show Rug will be held Nov. 11 from 6-10 p.m. at Snow Park Lodge, 2250 Deer Valley Drive, Park City. The weekend of the Navajo Rug Show, Nov. 12-14, there will be plenty of events the entire family will enjoy. Some 30 Navajo Elders and their families travel from the Navajo Reservation to share their culture, songs, and woven rugs with the public.
Friday night admission is $30 for adults and $10 for children under 12. Saturday admission is $5 per person or $5 worth of canned food items.
