Our Halloween Parade and classroom activities will be held on Wednesday, October 31.
Halloween Parade:
The parade will start at 2:10 p.m. We are going to try something different this year and have the students parade outside on the playground. It is always so tight in the building for students and parents that we wanted to open it up. I have looked at the weather forecast and it shows 68 and dry. We are asking you to join us on the playground blacktop with your camp chairs. We will allow limited parking out on our playground and ask that extra caution be taken as you arrive and depart.

Halloween Costumes Policy
Just a reminder about costumes for school. The following will not be allowed...
-No masks or anything covering the face, that would block or impede
your child’s eyesight. We want to be able to see who is wear what.
- No costumes with weapons or facsimile of a weapon will be allowed (swords, guns, knives, etc)- Dress code will be enforced
Classroom Volunteers:
Classroom activities will happen prior to the parade. If you will be helping in the classrooms during the day, you MUST sign-in and have a CLEARED background check before going to the class. If you have not gone online and filled out the volunteer registration it would be helpful if you complete the form as soon as possible so you that you will be cleared before Monday, Oct. 29. Go to www.canyonsdistrict.org and click on the Community tab. Then find the volunteer section to complete the registration.
