Salute to Volunteers

Thank you, volunteers! Whether you have helped teachers to get ready for the school year, children to safely cross the street, or students learn to read, Canyons School District salutes you as a treasured partner in education.

Volunteer Appreciation Week in Canyons School District is Sept. 16-20. The Canyons Board of Education will honor its 12,000 volunteers – a 20 percent increase over the prior year’s number --  in a special reception and recognitions event on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 7:30 p.m. at the Canyons Support Services Center, 9361 S. 300 East (southeast entrance).  All volunteers are invited to attend this special event. Additionally, Canyons volunteers will be recognized in each school and spotlighted on the District Web site and social media during the week.
