This year Draper Elementary will be offering some before-and after-school classes throughout the year. Please check the Canyons School District Community Education Catalog that was mailed directly to your home for specific class information and how to register for most of them.
CHOIR: Dragon Choir is currently accepting applications for students in grades 3-6 who would like to join. Starting Sept. 11, the choir will practice Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:00 to 8:40 in the Kiva. Parents are responsible for their own transportation. Applications were emailed this morning to all parents and are due Sept. 28. All 3rd-6th grade students are accepted and once the form is returned to the school. Students just need to show up for morning practices.
BALLROOM TEAM: Our Ballroom Dance program is open for students in grades 4-6. Starting Sept. 11, the students will practice Tuesdays and Thursdays in the gym from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. We hope more students will want to join and have fun on the dance floor. The class will have a required number of students in order to carry the class, but if we do not meet that number we will need to cancel and refund your registration costs. More information was emailed to parents this morning.
BRICKS4KIDZ: Bricks4Kidz will be offering an after-school class on Mondays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. . The class size is limited but open for all students. Registration information can be found in the CSD Community Education Catalog or you can call Aaron Escamilla 801-209-2187 for specific class information.
To register online for the Ballroom Dance Class or the Brick 4 Kidz class, you will need a credit or debt card handy. Then, simply go to http://entrada.revtrak.net, click "Canyons Community Ed," and follow the directions.
